Arguing Allen, The Alligator

Arguing Allen was an alligator with brains
He thought he knew everything from winds to rains
When his only friend would come into town
Allen would say mean things to put him down
He talked very loudly to make his point known
His voice was so loud that it broke an ear bone
Rudeness and disagreeing were fun to him
He said, " I'll get louder to win and beat Jim"
Allen didn't mean hitting with fist that would hurt
But arguing with words that his big mouth would blurt
Jim you see was Allen's best friend
That was until Jim wouldn't argue to the end
Jim tried to agree with what Allen said
Although he knew Allen was wrong in his head
So remember these words as you grow up just right
Nobody knows everything, let others show you the light
Directions: Arguing Allen has to learn positive words to change his arguing ways. Let's write the opposites to words and ways that hurt.
