Volcano Pamphlet
Objective: Students will research a volcano and create a pamphlet of information on their volcano.
Each student selects an active volcano to research.
Students research their volcano using books, encyclopedias, and the Internet.
Students draw, copy, or scan a picture of their volcano and a map of it's location.
Students will use their information to answer the provided questions.
Questions:
1. Name of Volcano
2. Location of Volcano
3. Type of Volcano structure
4. Recent eruptions
Casualties
Damage
5. Interesting Facts
Students will create a pamphlet using the information from their questions, pictures, and the map of the location. Pamphlets maybe created using computer software when available.
