Volcanic Mountain

Below is a geometric representation of a mountain that has been transformed into a volcano.  Our objective is to calculate the volume of material that has been blown away  by the forces of nature.

Having determined the mass and the distance of displacement, we can approximate the

         force.

The formula for the volume of a cone is                  V = 1/3pr2h

Everything sounds good . . . we are ready to compute!  Compute what?

The cone we want to measure no longer exists . . . help!
