National Science Teachers Association (NSTA)
NSTA is the organization for the futherance of science education in the classroom. Members include science teachers, scientists, science supervisors, business and industry leaders. National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS)
NCSS is the professional organization dedicated to supporting social studies teachers. They offer an online site for discussion and links and resources. They have state and local affiliates throughout the nation.

National Music Teachers Association (NMTA)
NMTA was founded in 1876 and is the oldest professional music assocation. It is committed to teaching music and the art of music.

The Michigan Association for Computer-Related Technology Users in Learning
Educators are able to utilize MACUL as a resource for technology in the information age. Their newsletter provides up to date information on technology issues and technology related uses in the classroom. MACUL holds an annual conference every March with diverse programs and speakers.
